Delhi Govt mandates medicines procurement from Jan Aushadhi Kendras

In an effort to ensure affordable and quality medicines for patients, the Delhi government has mandated the procurement of medicines exclusively from Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Kendras (PMBJK) for all its hospitals and health centres. Local purchases are only allowed in emergency situations, official said.

The step aims to bring transparency to the medicine procurement process, ensuring affordable and quality medicines for patients, officials said.
