Court grants bail to ex-RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh

The Sealdah court in Kolkata on Friday granted bail to Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, and Abhijit Mondal, the former officer-in-charge of Tala police station, in connection with the rape and murder case of a woman trainee doctor on August 9.

While Mondal was accused of alleged delay in filing of FIR in the rape and murder of the on-duty doctor at R G Kar Hospital on August 9, Sandip Ghosh was accused of tampering with evidence in the case.
