सीकर के CMHO के ड्राइवर का आज रिटायरमेंट हुआ। रिटायरमेंट के मौके पर CMHO डॉक्टर अजय चौधरी खुद अपने ड्राइवर महावीर के ड्राइवर बने। और गाड़ी चलाकर महावीर और उनके परिवार को घर पर छोड़ा। CMHO डॉक्टर अजय चौधरी का कहना है कि ड्राइवर महावीर उनके साथ हमेशा उनके साथ उनके साए की तरह रहे। महावीर ने एक परिजन की तरह उनका ध्यान रखा।दरअसल ड्राइवर महावीर प्रसाद सैनी मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी कार्यालय में वाहन चालक के पद पर कार्यरत थे और सेवानिवृत होने तक वे मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ अजय चौधरी के ड्राइवर थे। हमेशा साए की तरह सीएमएचओ डॉ चौधरी के साथ रहते।महावीर प्रसाद सैनी जिला मुख्यालय पर स्थित मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी कार्यालय में 1988 से 2000 और 2004 से अब तक यहां कार्यरत थे। वहीं इस बीच वे नीमकाथाना बीसीएमओ कार्यालय में भी कार्यरत थे। अपने ड्राइवर महावीर प्रसाद सैनी के रिटायर होने पर सीएमएचओ डॉ अजय चौधरी भी समारोह को संबोधित करते समय भावुक हो गए।स्वास्थ्य भवन के सभागार में हुए विदाई व स्वागत समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए सीएमएचओ डॉ अजय चौधरी ने कहा कि महावीर जी ने अपने दायित्वों का पूर्ण निष्ठा व ईमानदारी के साथ निवर्हन करते हुए मिसाल कायम की है, जिससे सभी को प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए।इस मौके पर अतिरिक्त मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ हर्षल चौधरी, डिप्टी सीएमएचओ डॉ सीपी ओला, जिला प्रजनन एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ निर्मल सिंह, जिला औषधि भण्डार के प्रभारी डॉ अशोक महरिया व अन्य अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने उनके सेवाकाल की सराहना करते हुए उनके दीर्घायु, स्वस्थ व खुशहाली की कामना की। समारोह में स्वास्थ्य भवन में कार्यरत सभी अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों ने माला, साफा पहनाकर व शाल ओढाकर उनका अभिनंदन किया। समारोह में स्वास्थ्य भवन में कार्यरत सभी अधिकारी व कर्मचारी मौजूद थे।

Contractual doctors working in Bihar government’s hospitals will now retire at age of 67 years

PATNA:
Contractual doctors working in Bihar government’s hospitals/ health institutions will now continue in their service till the age of 67 years.
A meeting of state cabinet chaired by CM Nitish Kumar on Wednesday approved a health department’s proposal to increase the retirement age of contractual doctors to 67 years from the existing 65, on the pattern of regular government doctors.
A total of 17 proposals of different departments were approved at the cabinet meeting.
Patna based Guru Gobind Singh (GGS) sub-divisional hospital will now be upgraded into a full-fledged district Sadar hospital. The cabinet approved a health department’s proposal in this regard.
Out of total 38 districts in the state, only Patna and Darbhanga districts earlier lack district-level sadar hospitals. With upgradation of GGS hospital into district-level hospital, Patna gets its Sadar hospital.
“The health department has already sanctioned a 100-bed district Sadar hospital for Darbhanga,” principal secretary (health) Sanjay Kumar told TOI on Wednesday.

Pension

1. Pension
1.1 Meaning : Pension is a recurring monthly payment on retirement to a Government
Servant.
1.2 Elements of Pension :
The three main elements, which go into computation of pension are :-
(a) The length of qualifying service of a Government Servant.
(b) Reckonable emoluments for pension and
(c) The scale and formula of pension applicable on the date of retirement.
1.2.1 Qualifying Service:-
The amount of pension is based on the length of ‘qualifying service’ of a retiring
Government Servant. Out of the total service of a Government Servant, the
following periods do not qualify for pension.
(i) Boy Service (Service rendered before attaining the age of 18 years.)
(ii) Extraordinary leave without medical certificate.
(iii) Overstay, Periods of suspension and other interruptions declared as nonqualifying.
(iv) Service as apprentice.
Commencement of qualifying service :-
Qualifying service commences from the date of initial appointment on a post and
time scale in State Government department, followed without interruption in the same or
any other service or post under the Government. It should be paid from the consolidated
fund of the State. The period of deputation to any other organization under the
orders/approval of the State Government is treated as qualifying for pension. The amount
of pension contribution @ 12% of the maximum of the scale of the post, is however
payable by the Borrowing organization through Directorate of Pension and Pensioners’
Welfare to the Government of Rajasthan.

For GPF the stoppage of deductions would be from three months before the date of RETIREMENT of the employee concerned

For SI the stoppage would be from three months before the date of MATURITY, according to rules all employees going to retire between 01/04/2015 to 31/03/2016 are having same date of MATURITY i.e. 01/04/2015 hence their deduction for SI would stop at the same time.
